In 2007 we pledged to undertake an outreach project for our community as a component of our 50th Anniversary celebration
In 2010 we are gardening again.
All of the food will be donated to local feeding ministries.

This year's planting day was May 16th. Members of St. Christopher's and the children from Carmel United Methodist Preschool worked together to get all of the plants and seeds into the ground.
 

Work Days are Monday mornings at 8 am, Saturday mornings at 8 am and Wednesday evenings at 6 pm.  Feel free to come by and harvest, weed and help with garden maintenance.

Thanks to the National Gardening Association our garden is the recipient of a new Mantis tiller to help our garden!  Come to any of the work days and you'll see it out!
 
We have also received a grant from the Hamilton County Master Gardeners Association which will allow us to work with Carmel United Methodist's Preschool students. They will receive grow labs to start seeds for next year's garden.
